When a grade C stands for Courageous

I was invited for lunch recently. The ambiance was great. The restaurant had an option for indoor/outdoor dining. The weather was good so my friends and I opted to eat outside. The sidewalk was decked out with high tents draped with flowers. The floor was covered with an artificial grass carpet to give the feel of a summer garden. Several bee and squirrels showed up so I guess the theme was greatly executed.

My US Shopping

I ordered dessert first which was a chocolate decadent Tiramisu, nice and cold for a humid summer day. I then ordered chicken soup which was a little too salty for my liking. My main course was shrimp linguine which was bland and ordered another round of desert which was Italian Ice. I travelled all the way from Bronx to the borough of Queens to have lunch. A true foodie at heart. I have mixed feelings about a possible revisit of this restaurant. Did having my dessert first ruin my palate? Or was I traumatized based on the C Sanitation Grade the restaurant got from the city? We didn’t realize the grade until the last bite of the meal. My friend told me to cheer up because “C”means that we were

C-ourageous for eating there. Sidebar: I am a lover of Italian Cuisine❤️
